Nusa Penida. On an island lost in the middle of the Indian Ocean a young woman gives birth to twins, a girl, a boy. She dies that night, leaving them to abandon. An old man takes them under his blessing but life separates them in the streets of Jakarta where they will face the plagues of society. He will grow up in the slums, she in the middle of the prostitution in the neighborhood "Blok M" til the day they meet and fall in love without knowing that the same blood flows in their veins.
