A young man, Ari (Emet Mihajlo) struggling to navigate early adulthood is plagued with the memories of an abusive relationship. He disappears suddenly- leaving his friends and family to wonder for years of why he "left". A mysterious character (uncredited) enters his life to force him to face the trauma and come to terms with the fact that he's stuck in a purgatory of self hatred and substance abuse, longing for the euphoric, secret relationship with the man, Vic (Nathan Spiteri), that ultimately murdered him. Snezhana (Amna Geko) refuses to accept the allegation that Ari left to start a new life and begins a tirelessly fight to expose the reality that Vic, a college professor, did not dispose of Ari, despite rumors and common narrative. Stuck in a purgatory created by his subconscious, he replays the tape of the euphoric affair he had, the mysterious character pushes him to accept his death-realizing that it takes getting everything you want and then losing it to experience true .
