Vinod (Dhanush) is a brilliant child at an orphanage run by a Catholic priest (Nagesh). When admitted to a top university, Vinod leaves the comfort of the orphanage and lives along in a city for the first time. In college, he is ridiculed for his appearance and manners by all except Divya (Sonia Agarwal), who he eventually falls in love with. Unfortunately, there is competition. And unfortunately for the competition, Vinod is not exactly conventional in dealing with crises.
