The three stars of La Forza del Destino, Galina Gorchakova, Nikolai Putilin and Gegam Grigorian discuss their role, the music and perform their aria from this historic, first recording in 1997 of the original 1862 version. Originally commissioned by The Imperial Maryiinsky Theatre from the composer Giuseppe Verdi. The arias are performed with the Kirov Orchestra and conducted by Maestro Valery Gergiev.
