They face each other in the Go Salon and sensing Akira's desire to win, Sai plays mercilessly, defeating Akira. As news spreads of Hikaru's win over Akira, he is spotted by the curious Ogata, a professional Go player, and dragged in to face the legendary Toya Meijin, a Go playing champion and Akira's father.
