The Noorderslag Festival is an indoor 3 day popular music festival, held every year in January in Groningen, the Netherlands. It's considered a festival where new talent is showcased, and there is an award for best popular music act (nationally). In 2008, the NOS broadcast the first ever TV special on the Noorderslag Festival.
