Detectives Burt and Squirt Snooper and Professor Noodle as well as the Picadilly Kids confront Mr. Poutndoubt who has just launched one of his surprise attacks. In order to try to break the spirit of the town, Mr. Poutndoubt sends in one of his henchmen to whisper into the ears of the townspeople, putting them under a spell where they begin to fight with each other, instead of loving each other.
