The story follows three jazz musicians trying to heal and come to terms in post Katrina New Orleans. Coping with the loss of his wife and child in the hurricane, a music teacher befriends a forgotten legendary saxophone player; and along with a young up and coming trumpeter, they begin to rediscover their passion for life and invigorate a damaged city through the cool rhythms of jazz. High upon the secluded rooftops of Jefferson Parrish they learn that even through life's tragedies and setbacks - there is still music to be played.
