Two young people's journey for self-discovery, redemption, and a desperate grasp for happiness. American hitch-hiker girl Annie is traveling around Finland, where he meets restless Finnish boy Mika, who seems to escape something from his past and is crushed by his father's sudden death. Soon these two youngsters start their journey - a road-trip without destination - across the sunny Finland. During the road-trip they both escape their pasts and find soul-mates from each other. But they both have real lives to face and know that even the most beautiful trips has to end at some point, but when? What if they have found the happiness for good? Will they lose it if they go back to their ordinary lives, that once suffocated them?
