Ecce Ubu is a mathematical calculation that needs a pataphysical apparition to be completed. Sixty scenes directed in Super8 have been chosen in the Cinescatti archive of Lab80film. They are small movies about journeys, family life and parades, but also movies "not movies", recorded while the camera was inadvertently on. Ecce Ubu wants to create a rigorous machinery. The scenes will go methodically and gradually from the fastest to the slowest, starting from one second, two seconds, and so on. The last sequence should be the most chronologically correct, but it will be fiction as well, being cinema.
