Howard Burrows has a dead-end job, which is OK by him, until he's replaced by 'a zit with a hard drive.' He's doomed, only to be saved by a weird computer called Loki. Loki offers him everything he wants, but it comes at a price, and Howard will learn what is truly valuable in his life.
