Max Kelly is on the verge of a quarter-life crisis. Four years after graduating from her acting conservatory, Max feels no closer to achieving her goals. She`s single, uninspired, and just scraping by as a cocktail waitress on the Lower East Side of Manhattan. When her new agent commits suicide, Max decides it`s finally time to break up with New York and move back to her hometown of Pittsburgh to rebuild the life and love she left behind.
