Writer and actor Jean Parker debuts After Birth, the story of three smart, urban, 30-something women as they clumsily navigate through motherhood. The series centers around Maggie Boyle, a struggling actress and new mother of two drooling, gummy, unpredictable creatures she has "come" to love. Maggie's joined by Jill, a lawyer on her maternity leave who feels like she's missed the whole "maternal" part of motherhood and Amy, a best friend from high school who's parenting mantra is "do whatever is necessary to survive". You won't need to call child services, but you will question some of their choices.
