Pia and Ada, two sisters in their forties, haven`t seen one another since their childhood. Today, Ada pays a visit to her sister who lives in a small village in the south of France. During this day we learn of the terrible deed that their mother had committed 35 years ago - Abandoning Ada in order to take care of her sick daughter Pia.
