When Rick's girlfriend is grotesquely murdered in the same manner as local unsolved crimes, he and his friends band together to figure out the mystery. Strange circumstances lead them to a bizarre encyclopedia of local murders called the "Book of Lore." As the bodies pile up and suspense builds, Rick must come to terms with his town's horrific past.
